About this blog

I’m an applied/computational physicist, currently working in the department of civil engineering in Aalto University, Espoo, Finland. My work is related to fluid dynamics-based modelling of combustion processes.

(Update 25 May 2019) Now a research assistant in the dept. of Mathematics and Statistics in university of Helsinki.

This is my personal blog, where I write about subjects related to computational physics, or just about anything I happen to be interested in at the moment. The target audience is people who have at least some college-level education in physics, math, IT or a similar field.

For more stuff about physics, mathematics and computing, also see the site www.physicsforums.com , where I actively participate, too.
